Du Plessis keen to exploit BPL's experience during IPL

He wants to play more BPL, but also expressed doubts about when the BPL will be played on the field.

South African superstar Faf du Plessis thinks the experience of playing in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) will be helpful in playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He has expressed his desire to come to Bangladesh to play BPL in future as well.

He thinks that preparation for BPL will work during IPL. And after a month, the 15th edition of IPL will be held. Before that, Du Plessis played in the eighth edition of BPL, for Comilla Victorians. This time he will play in the IPL for the Royal Challengers Bangalore jersey.  He has benefited from the BPL experience ahead of the IPL for the new franchise.
"Playing cricket means it helps me," he said. "I don't play much international cricket now. It is important to continue the practice of dealing with good bowlers." 
"So playing in BPL will be very useful for me. Yes, it can be used in preparation for IPL."
The cricketer does not see BPL as just a cricket practice. He also means satisfied BPL. In the words of Du Plessis, "the standard of BPL is very good. The experience is really great. The game was great too. It would be nice if the spectators could watch more matches. It's good to see them on the field."
Desperate to stay in cricket, Du Plessis wants to play more in the BPL, but also expressed doubts about when the BPL will be played on the field. "I want to play as many tournaments as possible, I want to play 5-6 tournaments a year," he said.
"We still don't know the schedule of BPL. But there will be plans to come here again".
