ECB reveals dates for England tour of South Africa
Joe Root’s side is in pretty good touch at the moment and has also got a good record against South Africa where they won test series 2-1 the last time they toured the nation back in 2015/16.
They will lock horns in the red-ball fixtures with a Boxing Day Test at Centurion.
It is said that the series will be England’s second in the new ICC World Test Championships format following the Ashes series against Australia later this summer.
Joe Root will be looking forward to leading his team in the red-ball format as his team will spice it up in four Test matches in South Africa whereas Eoin Morgan will lead England’s white-ball team in 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is in the venues Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, East London and Centurion respectively.
