End of Hathurusingha era?

Over the rest of the days of his term, it is now almost certain that Bangladesh head coach Chandika Hathurusingha will not avail himself in responsibility of the team after once he left.

Bangladesh Cricket Board officials, earlier, stated they have contacted with Hathurusingha, now staying in Australia, and fetched him to come here to have a talk and clear out things about his sudden resigning.

Although BCB has not officially made anything revealed, it is reported that Chandika Hathurusingha would not visit Bangladesh, therefore he is no longer available to work out the coaching duties of Bangladesh national team.

The Sri Lankan borne coach is assigned to the contract with BCB till 2019 World Cup.

After a total unsuccessful mission to South Africa where Bangladesh lost every matches of all the versions of the game and being heavily criticized, Chandika Hathurusingha left for his residence in Australia and sent an e-mail containing his resignation decision from the position of head coach.
