England gain No One spot in ODI ranking, Afghanistan topple Sri Lanka

Afghanistan have leapt into a major stride in the shortest format of the game, overpassing Sri Lanka to gain the number eighth spot in International Cricket Council’s T20I ranking.

Whereas England removed India from the number one position in the ICC ODI rankings bagging eight crucial points to acquire an aggregate total of 125 points overall.

In the latest MRF Tyers ICC ODI team rankings, South Africa are dropped below one spot, resting in number three behind England and India with 113 points.

The remaining positions are unchanged with Bangladesh are at number seven (93 points). The current top ten teams will appear in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

Pakistan (130 points) remain in the leading position of the MRF Tyers T20I rankings having Australia breathing over the neck with 126 points.

In the shortest version of the game, Bangladesh, with 75 points in bag, are languishing in the bottom most position below Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.
