However after all this sacrifices, Mashrafe still had to end up being on the losing side, as Kalabagan lost the match by 47 runs.
His team may have lost the match, but Mashrafe once again won everyone’s heart. Even the opposition captain Shuvagata Hom, who also became the man of the match for crunching 60 runs and taking two wickets, was full of praise for Mashrafe post the match.

Shuvagata was happy with the way his team bounced back in the competition after losing their opener to Gazi Group Cricketers. “We had a bad day in the first match. But the five-run win over CCS boosted our confidence, which worked in today’s match as well. In the next matches we will be looking to keep this flow of winning.”
The national all-rounder was also quite pleased with his all-round match winning performance, “In every match I target to do well in all three departments — batting, bowling and fielding. I have succeeded today, so I am very happy.”
