‘Fab Five’ to be reunited in Tamim’s last live show but Shakib misses out

There is bad news for those who’re enjoying Tamim Iqbal’s live shows while sitting in lockdown. The ODI captain of the Bangladesh national team will do just one more show with the cricketers. His live show will end on Saturday (May 23).

'Fab Five' to join together in Tamim's last live show but Shakib misses out

Tamim directed 12 episodes in three weeks. The last episode of this show is going to get special status. Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah Riyad will join Tamim on Saturday.

In other words, in the live session of Tamim on Saturday, except Shakib Al Hasan the rest of ‘Fabulous Five’ will be seen. Naturally the question arises, then why not Shakib? Tamim said, Shakib is not able to come to this chat due to personal reasons.

As a result, the last episode of Tamim’s live show will be without Shakib. Mashrafe, Mushfiqur, Tamim and Mahmudullah will be together next Saturday at 10:30 pm Bangladesh time. Tamim himself has hinted, that day’s chat will be full of lots of fun.

“I really enjoyed this show myself. Unfortunately, the last episode of this show will be on Saturday, May 23rd. Hope everybody enjoys that show. And one more thing I want to clarify here. Many are questioning when Shakib will come to this show. I personally contacted him ten days ago. My biggest wish was that we would do this last show with five of us (Fabulous Five). But unfortunately for some personal reason he can’t join us on that show. And I don’t think there is much need to talk about it. People can have personal work. We should all respect everyone.

“I am grateful to the other four who agreed to do this show on Saturday, May 23rd. I wanted five people to do the last show together. But the five of us can’t stay. But I must do the show out of four. I am meeting everyone at that last event on 23rd May at 10:30 pm. Thank you all,” Tamim said.

Meanwhile, New Zealand captain Kane Williamson was present as the fifth foreign cricketer in Tamim’s live session today (Thursday). A lot of things came up in the conversation of about 35 minutes. Earlier, foreigners Faf du Plessis of South Africa, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli of India and Wasim Akram of Pakistan were seen in Tamim’s live chat.

Note that Tamim was the first to live with Mushfiqur Rahim on May 2. The next day Mahmudullah came in Tamim’s live show. Both these episodes took place on Instagram. Later, Tamim brought his live session on Facebook at the request of the audience.

Mashrafe, the most successful captain of the national team, was present on the first day of Facebook Live on May 4. Which got huge viewership. About 100k people enjoyed Mashrafe-Tamim’s live show that day.

Also among the local cricketers are two fast bowlers Taskin Ahmed and Rubel Hossain, three former captains Naimur Rahman Durjoy, Khaled Mahmud Sujon and Habibul Bashar Sumon, three batsmen Mominul Haque, Soumya Sarkar and Liton Das and the last three former captains Akram Khan, Minhajul Abedin Nannu and Khaled Mashud Pilot joined Tamim’s live show.
