Fakhar to miss Boxing Day Test against South Africa
Pakistan are going to miss the services of Fakhar Zaman for their upcoming Test series against South Africa, as the left-hand opening batsman will be out for three to five weeks due to an aggravated knee injury.
As Fakhar will still be recovering from injury during that time, it is a certainty that he is going to miss first of the three Tests that begins on Boxing Day in Centurion.
It has been learnt that the 28-year-old had complained about pain in his right knee after pulling off a spectacular run-out during the second T20I against Australia in October.

Despite the pain, Fakhar played five limited-overs games with the injury before deciding to take time off to heal the injury. Hence he is not in the squad for the ongoing Tests against New Zealand.
Fakhar’s rehabilitation process has begun at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore and further tests on his injured knee will be conducted on Tuesday.
Fakhar made a brilliant start to his Test career against Australia in October, as he left an instant mark with scores of 94 and 68 in two innings in the Abu Dhabi Test to play a big role in helping his team win over the Aussiues by a huge margin of 373 runs.
