Zampa didn’t really find some spice in his bowling attack as he struggled during his six-over spell, conceding 50 runs as India posted a mammoth 352-5 thanks to Shikhar Dhawan’s century and candid fifties from Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma following by a fierce knock by Hardik Pandya who scored a blazing fast 48 and missed out on a well-deserved quickest fifty in this world cup.

In reply to the target, Australia were short of creating an impact as the fifties from David Warner, Steve Smith and Alex Carey went in vain as Indian bowlers titled the game to their favour.

When asked about the pictures of Zampa that went viral on social media, Australia captain Finch said: “I haven’t seen the photos. ‘I know he has hand warmers in his pockets like every game and uses them.”

Talking about team’s defeat, if he will brood about making changes for their next fixture against Pakistan, Finch added: “We will look at everything. You assess conditions, we are off down to Taunton tomorrow, we will take a look at the surface there. You look for different combinations and balances all the time.”
