The batsman earlier promised to the fans through his official Facebook page that he will talk about everything that happened before and after the ICL. The wait was finally over as Nafees uploaded the part one of the video on Tuesday.

Nafees revealed that the rumour of Ashraful taking part in making the controversial ICL team was true.

“The first proposal from ICL came to Ashraful. He was the captain of Bangladesh and also one of the biggest performers in the team. When ICL decided to make a team from Bangladesh, they came to Ashraful with the official proposal,” he said.

However, Ashraful soon backed off along with some of the players after things went quite far.

“It was decided that Ashraful will play and he will also create the team. The matter went quite ahead, but then Ashraful and some of the players backed off,” Nafees concluded.

The dynamic batsman also promised to talk more about the tournament in the second part of his video. It will be posted on his facebook and youtube channel.
