Former Bangladesh cricketer contracts coronavirus

The whole world has been devastated by the coronavirus outbreak. The infection is increasing every day. The spread of COVID-19 is not going to be stopped at all. After former Bangladesh cricketer and coach Ashiqur Rahman, another former cricketer Sajib Das has been attacked by coronavirus.

The number of people infected and dying from the novel coronavirus is increasing as time goes on. Infection of COVID-19 is surpassing the previous record every day in Bangladesh.

A few days ago, former pace bowler Ashiqur of Bangladesh U-19 team was attacked by coronavirus. This time, former cricketer Sajib has contracted coronavirus. Sajib was a regular face of Bangladesh domestic cricket despite not getting a chance in the national team. He has also captained Wari and Victoria Cricket Club in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League.

Sajib’s mother has also contracted COVID-19 alongside his son. A week ago, Sajib went with his family from Madaripur to his father-in-law’s house in Sadarpur, Faridpur. That’s where he’s tested positive for coronavirus.

He is in isolation with his mother at his father-in-law’s house due to the intervention of the local administration. He is currently undergoing treatment there.
