Ganguly asks Bangladesh players to show more determination
BCCI president Sourav Ganguly feels the players of Bangladesh need a bit more courage and determination to play in the longer format of the game.
The historic pink ball Test ended in just three days and it was indeed a matter of sorrow as almost all the tickets were sold for the fourth day at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
After the end of the game, the BCCI president Sourav Ganguly gave an opinion about Bangladesh’s performance and asked for more determination and courage from the players.
“The players need a bit more determination and courage. They play T20 and ODI very well, but Test cricket is the best form of cricket. So they need a bit more courage to face the bowlers.”
Ganguly also declined to believe that the players doesn’t have the ability and gave the Indian captain Virat Kohli as an example.
“No one can say that the players like Mahmudullah, Mushfiqur, Tamim and Shakib doesn’t have that ability. It’s all about character and courage. When Virat Kohli bats, it looks like every ball is life and death. That attitude has to be there,” he concluded.
