Today’s match will mark Gayle’s comeback to competitive cricket as he was out of the game for about five months due to injury. “It’s good to be back in Bangladesh. I always do well when I play here. And yes, the team is team doing well, so it actually eased a bit of pressure off me coming back after injury, playing my first game. So I am looking forward to tomorrow’s game and then try and built some momentum from my personal point of view, but at the same time the team is in second place and that’s more important as well try and qualify being at the top two.”

The whirlwind performer was quite optimistic of his side and said, “I am sure we have a lot of match-winners and captain Mahmudullah, who have played a lot of internationals, a lot of experience in the team as well. I have just added to the team make it a plus for the team as well, am looking forward to share my views and experience with the guys and you know be in a dressing room which have some new players as well. So it’s gonna be fantastic something for me and I am looking forward to start from the scratch.”

Gayle had some announcement for his fans and some warning for the opponent bowlers as well! “The fans know I am in town, so you can hope to have a few Gayle-storm in a couple of games. I wouldn’t mind to start off in the first game, but let’s see what happens,” said Gayle towards his fans and concluded with warning the bowlers, “No message for the them. I have done so many damages already, so they know what to expect!”
