Habibul Bashar off to India to join IPL

Former Bangladesh captain and current member of BCB’s selection panel Habibul Bashar is off to India for joining the Indian Premier League (IPL) as a commentator.

Ever since retiring from all forms of cricket, Habibul Bashar has been seen in various roles. He is currently in Bangladesh Cricket Board’s (BCB) selection panel and has also played a major role in making the squad for the upcoming World Cup.

He has also worked as a manager for Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) franchises. But now he will be seen in a different role as he is set to join the commentary panel in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The former Bangladesh captain is going to do commentary for the first time. When asked about his new experience that he will be going to get, Bashar said –

“I don’t think it will be any problem for me. I have enough experience in cricket. And I have to talk about cricket only, right?”

Bashar will be joining as a Bangla commentator in India’s famous TV channel Star Jolsha Movies where all the IPL matches are telecasted. He will be available for the next seven days and will return home on 27 or 28th April.
