Hardik could miss Australia tour

Hardik Pandya is one of the best stars of the Indian team. He has brought a lot of success to the country with bat and ball. But he may not get a chance in the upcoming tour of Australia.

Hardik could miss Australia tour

Hardik suffered from back injury for a long time. But he has recovered before the Indian Premier League (IPL). He is playing for Mumbai Indians in the ongoing IPL. But even after playing 10 matches, he did not bowl a single over. So the discussion started, whether he will be included in the Australia tour team or not.

According to the Indian Express, India may announce a 32-man squad for the tour of Australia. The selectors have not yet decided whether Hardik will be included in the squad.

Hardik underwent back surgery in London in 2019. After that he did not play. He is currently working on a new bowling action under the supervision of Zaheer Khan. So the Indian selectors are not willing to keep Hardik in the team just as a batsman.

The Australian and Indian cricketers who have returned from IPL, will go to Sydney and stay in quarantine, where they will practice next door. The deal has allayed fears over India’s tour of Australia.

The Indian team’s tour of Australia will start on November 27. The two teams will play their first ODI at the Sydney Cricket Ground. India-Australia will play three ODIs and three T20I matches before the start of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
