Haris Rauf tested positive for ‘fourth’ time

Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf has been tested positive for the fourth time. He has been put under isolation for 10 days and then he will be tested again.

It seems like the curse of the coronavirus is still disturbing the Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf as he has been tested positive for the fourth time on Monday. He got the result from a latest PCB test conducted in Lahore. Just a day prior to his positive result, Haris Rauf oddly tested negative but has now been sent back to Islamabad from Lahore through a special vehicle.

The fast bowler will now be in isolation for the next 10 days again. he medical counsel of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will stay in immediate contact with the pacer.

Haris was set to be selected in Pakistan’s touring party for England for upcoming England vs Pakistan 2020 Test series. But he was excluded from the squad after the fast bowler tested positive thrice for COVID-19. The board hasn’t confirm yet if he is permanently excluded from the England tour or he will be sent once he tests negative.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan team are currently in England where they will play three Tests and as many T20Is against England from August 5 onwards. Ten players, who were all tested positive has now been cleared negative and are participating in the training sessions. The 26-year old fast bowlers now await for his good news.
