Harsha picks Stokes, Shakib in ODI XI of the decade
After including Shakib Al Hasan in his Test team of the decade, cricket expert Harsha Bhogle has picked the Bangladeshi all-rounder again in the ODI XI.
Shakib, unsurprisingly, is the only Bangladeshi in Harsha’s XI. In 104 matches from January 1, 2011, Shakib scored 3489 runs at an average of 40.57. He took 131 wickets at an economy rate of 4.71.
Harsha’s team for Cricbuzz also includes one man each from England, South Africa, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and New Zealand, two Australians and three Indians.
Rohit Sharma and David Warner are named openers while Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers bat at No.3 and 4 positions. The batting line-up is followed by Ben Stokes, MS Dhoni and Shakib.
Rashid Khan is the second spinner in the XI. Fast bowlers Mitchell Starc, Lasith Malinga and Trent Boult complete the team.
