Alyssa Healy’s reply to a fan goes viral

After the conclusion of the Test series, an Indian fan took to Twitter and trolled Mitchell Starc while praising Mohammed Siraj. The 26-year-old Hyderabad pacer finished the Test series with most wickets for India as he took 13 wickets to his name without playing the Adelaide Test.

On the other hand, Mitchell Starc finished the series with 11 wickets. After the Test series, fan wrote: “Lmao Siraj has more wickets than Starc in this series.”

Meanwhile, Mitchell Starc’s wife Alyssa Healy came up with a fitting reply to the fan. “Why’s it funny?! Reflects Siraj’s ability and reward for effort,” she replied.

Another fan joined the discussion and wrote: “According to you.. Either Starc has no ability or he isn’t putting enough efforts😲😲” To which, Mitchell Starc’s wife came up with yet another sensible reply. “Actually no. I’m giving credit to a young Indian bowler who’s had an incredible series and should be praised for his efforts!” she wrote.

The left-arm pacer will undergo scans on his hamstring. While the majority of Aussie Test players took the flight to Melbourne on Wednesday for BBL, Starc returned to Sydney for scans. Meanwhile, Australian Test captain Tim Paine praised his teammate Starc.

“Starcy is someone who, the way he bowls, he is going to come in for some criticism. When he’s on he is one of the great bowlers you’ll see, and at times he doesn’t quite get it right and when that’s the case it doesn’t look great. But again Mitchell Starc has done an amazing job for our Test team over a long period of time and he will continue to do so.”
