Help needed for a Local Cricketer Istiak Mahmud Tonmoy
This is the tale of a boy who used to be very much fond of sports. Playground is his favorite thing. He gradually started to be renowned as a good player in locality, Magura. But the good days didn’t remain long for this regular player of Magura district cricket team Istiak Mahmud Tonmoy. He was found to get hold of cancer in 2011. The son of Md. Abdul Wahab and Nasrin Sultana, Tonmoy is invaded with incurable sarkomo cancer. He was taken to Mumbai, India for treatment in2011. The doctor of the Raheja hospital did his operation. His foot was cut down from the knee during operation, which is very much shocking especially for someone whose dream is to be a player. His father has to sell many of his lands for the sake of his son’s operation. He came back to Bangladesh after the treatment. In 2013 , he was again started to have problems. His father then mortgaged all his assets and admitted him in the Delta hospital. He was then taken to Kolkata for further treatment. His foot was cut down as his situation was started to get worse. His father is almost destitute now. He started to borrow money then . Tonmoy is now going under treatment in Sqauare hospital. His treatment requires almost 20 lakh taka which is impossible for his father to collect. His father has requested to the people of different sectors to help him.
