Highlights: Bangladesh vs Australia, 2nd Test, 3rd day
Opener David Warner picked up his consecutive centuries as Australia end day-3 on 377 for 9. After incessant drizzle washed out the entire opening session on the third day of the second Test and reduced the day to a minimum of 67 overs, Warner and Handscomb took their stand to 152 before the right-handed batsman was run out by a Shakib Al Hasan direct hit. Handscomb fell only 18 runs short of a well deserved century while Hilton Cartright was dismissed for 18 by Mehedi Hasan Miraz at the stroke of Tea.
However, Warner who smashed a century in opener of the series in Dhaka, did not miss the opportunity to pick up his 20th Test hundred. The left-handed opener scored 123 off 237 deliveries before falling to Mustafizur Rahman.
Apart from them, Glenn Maxwell played a steady 38-run knock off 98 balls, hitting only three boundaries in his whole innings.
Earlier in the day, the groundsmen at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium put in the hard yards to ensure play resumed soon after the luncheon interval.
