Holder No.1 as Ashwin, Miraz move up in rankings

Jason Holder has toppled Ben Stokes as the No.1 Test all-rounder in latest ICC rankings.

Ravichandran Ashwin (No.5) and Mehidy Hasan Miraz No.11) have moved up the rankings. Miraz scored a century and a fifty aside his 10 wickets in two-Test series against West Indies. The Bangladeshi off-spinning all-rounder was 14th at the start of Dhaka Test.

Shakib Al Hasan (352) retains his place at No.4 while Stokes (397) has slipped down to three.

Liton Das has jumped 11 places to 54th, Rohit Sharma moved nine up to 14th. Nkrumah Bonner (25 places up to 63rd) and Joshua Da Silva (33 places up to 76th) have had big gains in batsmen’s rankings.

Taijul Islam is slotted at 22nd in bowlers’ rankings, moving up five places. Rahkeem Cornwall is now at 49th from 65th.

New Zealand’s Kane Williamson and Aussie Pat Cummins are leading the charts among batters and bowlers respectively.
