BCB official doctor Debashish Chowdhury informed that it is a mix up condition of fungus and allergy. Intense sweating worsens the condition in his body. But he is free from any sort of danger now. “Exposure to sun and heat will increase the infection so Imrul has to stay indoors for a week. Medication have been given which will be continued up to a month at least” – doctor informed. Imrul became the highest scorer (25) of that innings playing with the diseased body. Imrul said, “I scored a century in the Sri Lankan tour after coming back from a long interval. I hoped to do well in this series also. And it seems frustrating for me now.”
Imrul has no explanations for the bad performance of the team also, “We discussed a lot, we know what to do but it isn’t happening. We lost the ODI series from a winning position; luck is not favoring us also. I don’t know what to say really.” Bangladesh team is going to participate in the Asian Games and the team will depart for Inchon, South Korea in 26th of September.
