Since the past couple of weeks or maybe years, Yograj Singh has always been targeting MS Dhoni whenever he gets an opportunity. It was only recently that he blamed MS Dhoni for India’s exit in World Cup 2019 semi-finals against New Zealand.

Did Yuvraj ever tell any other player to play the shots as you do? You got so many half-volleys, you hit huge sixes, what happened to you at that moment? Were you worried? You should have got out. What difference would it have made?”

The man who is quite often known for launching a scathing attack on Mahendra Singh Dhoni stunned the entire cricket fraternity by saying that he is a big fan of MS Dhoni.

Yes, in a shocking turn of events, Yograj Singh took a massive U-turn and added that he never intended to hurt Dhoni and said he never blamed Dhoni for India’s defeat. He said that he is a massive fan of MS Dhoni while describing him as ‘legendary player’.

Yograj Singh lauded MS Dhoni and highlighted that the former skipper has been really good with his decisions. The 61-year-old man said: “I never said this. I never blamed MS Dhoni for the loss. It is not my version. You have asked the wrong question to the wrong person. There is no doubt that he has been serving the nation for a long time.

He is a legendary player. In fact, I am Dhoni’s fan. The way he has played the cricket, the way he has led the side, the kind of decisions he has taken, has been very good.”
