“It’s interesting to play with the challenge,” Naim said at a practice session in Mirpur on Thursday (February 27th).

“It doesn’t feel good if everything goes smoothly. I enjoy playing with challenges. I discuss my pros and cons with senior cricketers. They talk about how to handle stressful moments.”

Naim knew where his weakness had been. So he’s working on those places. “I enjoy playing white ball very much,” he said. “In red ball, I had not a very good time lately. I went home and worked in white balls. Some things have been told to me to work. I am working on these. Preparation is good.”

The left-handed batsman had not not thinking about the Test format. But he wanted to be more prepared and ready for the Test. “When I played under-19, I played in red balls before. There was a big break in between. In red ball, I was not worked a lot. If you practice it will be okay. There are small mistakes, for this I do not succeed in red balls. I need to practice more in red balls,” he said.
