‘I played on bouncy wicket before’

In cricket, bouncy pitches are one of the deadliest to play on.  The upcoming series between Bangladesh and Windies, is also likely to be played on a bouncy wicket. However, Bangladesh top-order batsman Mominul Hoque has said they are not much concerned about the bouncy wicket as they played on the similar condition in the past. He said, “We played on bouncy wickets many times before. So there is nothing to be worried about that.  Thinking too much would affect us. So it is better to not worry about that.”

Speaking about himself Mominul said, “I played on bouncy wicket before. I have to cope up with the condition. There is no problem if I can adapt.”

MeanwhileI, it will be the first series for Bangladesh under their new head coach. The 26-year old cricketer also has revealed that he is looking forward to new plans sketched by under their new coach Steve Rhodes. “It is too early to say anything regarding him and I am sure we will know him better as time flies. But as far as creating a bondage between players and coach is concerned it is developing quite well,” said Mominul.
