‘I’m not pleased at all’ says Taskin Ahmed

He is not but anything nearly rookie in white dress. Taskin Ahmed, one of the most premier pacers of Bangladesh in one day cricket has spent a Test career of three matches, two of them against New Zealand and the other in the memorable one off Test in Indian soil. Notwithstanding his acceptable performance in the elite format of cricket, Taskin is nevertheless pleased with his performance because at the end of the day all he tested was a defeat. So, before another Test venture this time against Sri Lanka, the youngster wants to make a way out from the circle of loses.

“Personally, I’m not happy at all. We lost all three Test matches quite unfortunately. I am eager to correct those mistakes in the matches ahead. Hope some positivity will emerge in the Sri Lanka tour. And I am also eager to do well to improve my personal performance” – Taskin Ahmed.

Talking about his fitness, Taskin said, “To be honest, I’m lucky enough. Yes, I’m working really hard. But the main phenomenon is blessing of Almighty. I am really fit by the grace of Allah and that is important of all.”

National team selectors added five pacers including Taskin Ahmed in the squad for Sri Lanka series where the Tigers will face the lions in Two Test matches.
