Imad Wasim illustrates big ton, Pakistan start England tour with stuffy win
Pakistan have begun their World Cup seasoning with a thumping 100-run win over Kent at Beckenham on Saturday.
Imad Wasim portrayed an unbeaten century, 117, which is his career- best List A score to set Pakistan accumulating a commanding total of 358 runs losing 7 wickets in 50 overs.
For the tourists, Fakhar Zaman and Haris Sohail also starred the show making 76 and 75 respectively to build up the big total on the board.
Sohail and Imad added 139 runs for the sixth wicket before Sohail fell in the 47th over; Imad was still there to continue the dominance. His 117 contained of 13 fours and four sixes.
The flurry of hitting poured the touring party’s score board with more than 50 runs off the final four overs.
The target proved too much for Kent; the county side collapsed to 258 all out with more than five overs remaining in their innings.

The subcontinent side continue their tour with county matches against Northamptonshire and Leicestershire on Monday and Wednesday respectively.
Pakistan will take on England in a one-off Twenty20 international in Cardiff before facing the hosts in the first of five one day internationals at The Oval on May 8.
