It has been more than seven months since India has played any international cricket. They are all set to face mighty Australia in a full tour after the end of the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, the talking point is if Kohli will be able to take part in the tour or not.

The Indian captain is expecting his first child in January and thus, he is doubtful for the tour. Kohli and Anushka Sharma announced on social media in August that they are set to become parents. The due date of the delivery is yet to be known, but Kohli has to adjust one way or another anyway.

Cricket Australia (CA) will announce the schedule of the tour next week. India wants the traditional New Year’s Test to not start until January 7 so that Kohli can play. The Indian board is trying to fix a date by which it won’t clash with Kohli’s availability.

Meanwhile, Anushka is currently with Kohli in the UAE as the RCB skipper is eying for maiden IPL trophy with the Bangalore side. It’s still unclear whether the star couple will consider having baby in Australia.
