India’s Predicted XI for the 2nd ODI against Australia

Finch and Kohli at toss

After losing the first ODI against Australia, the Indian team will play do or die game at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Sunday. The visitors did not do enough with the ball and the fielding as well.

However, Shikhar Dhawan and Hardik Pandya scored half-centuries but it was not enough to chase down the target of 375 runs. In the end, the Virat Kohli and Co. lost the series opener by 66 runs.

The Indian team still have a good chance to clinch the series. But, they should look to win the next game to be alive in the series. Here we take a look at India’s probable playing XI for the 2nd ODI.

1. Mayank Agarwal

Mayank Agarwal has replaced injured Rohit Sharma for the limited over series against India. Meanwhile Prithvi Shaw has been recalled to the Test side.

Mayank Agarwal provided a brisk start but could not build a much-needed partnership with Shikhar Dhawan. The right-handed batsman, who could score 22 off 18 balls in the previous game, would look to score more runs at Sydney.
