    The opening match of the three match twenty-20 series was abandoned due to heavy rain and wet outfield. So all the attention and anticipation of fans shifted to the second game. In which the visitors disappointed with a heavy defeat. The hosts lead the series 1-0 with a victory of 35 runs.  
    West Indies elected to bat first after winning toss in Dominica. They gathered a match winning total of 193 runs, courtesy to the fifties from duo- Brandon King and Rovman Powell
    Powell smashed Bangladeshi bowlers all around the park scoring an unbeaten 61 runs from just 28 deliveries. The other half centurion- Brandon King laid the foundation for lower order with a crucial knock off 57 runs from 43 deliveries.  
    Shoriful Islam was the pick off Tiger bowling unit with two wickets. In reply, Bangladesh scored 44 runs in their power-play losing three wickets- Anamul Haque, Liton Das and Mahmudullah Riyad
    Later on it was another Shakib Al Hasan show. The all-rounder formed a vital partnership with young Afif Hossain. Both added 55 runs for the fourth wicket partnership. Afif departed scoring 34 from 27 deliveries. 
    Bangladesh's innings ended for 158 runs
    Nurul Hasan Sohan (7) also failed to make significant contribution like many of his team-mates. Shakib however, held the innings from one end playing a very steady knock. He accomplished his fifty in 45 balls. Mosaddek tried to score rapidly but it proved very late, so was Shakib's acceleration after half-century. 
    Mosaddek's knock ended for 15 during the very last over of the innings. His senior partner managed to remain unbeaten scoring 68 off 52 deliveries. During which Shakib smashed three big sixes and nine boundaries in total. 
    Eventually, Bangladesh's innings concluded for 158 runs in their 20 overs. Therefore, West Indies earned a convincing win of 35 runs in their back yard.
