An international bilateral series on card for Pakistan


A delegation of Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has met with Shahryar Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday in Lahore.

Thereafter an official statement issued by PCB read, “A delegation led by Zimbabwe Sports Minister Makhosini Hlongwane met PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan in his office on Monday. Zimbabwe Cricket Chairman Tavengwa Mukhlani accompanied him. The minister applauded smooth organization of PSL final and said it will surely be a stepping stone in revival of international cricket in Pakistan.”

The important part of the statement was, therefore, where it was written, “The officials also discussed about the possibilities of bilateral tours between the two countries in the months ahead. Mr. Shahryar Khan thanked the delegation.”

PCB Chief Operating Officer Subhan Ahmed, Media and Co-ordination Director Amjad Hossain and international cricket GM Usman Wahala also made their presence in the meeting.

Slender though, Pakistan have seen some ray of light to bring international cricketing action back in the country after the successful arrangement of Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in Lahore.
