Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first at iconic Eden Gardens, Kolkata. KKR got off to a blistering start as they smashed the opposition all around the park, with Chris Lynn being the highlight of the game. Sunil Narine was the first batsman to get out, after having been dismissed by 2 runs.

Aakash Chopra took to his Twitter handle to come up with a prediction to say that KKR would loss a wicket particularly after the strategic time-out. What was really interesting in his prediction was that he predicted the right bowler who will dismiss the right batsman. (i.e. Imran Tahir to dismiss Nitish Rana).

“Wicket after the time-out? In a couple of overs….Tahir to dismiss Rana?? Let’s find out ☺️ #KKRvCSK #IPL,” Aakash Chopra tweeted.

In a surprising turn of events, Aakash Chopra’s prediction came true! Coming to the point, Chriss Lynn was the top-scorer for KKR as he played a solo knock, scoring 51-ball 82 with as many as 6 sixes and 7 fours. KKR posted 161/8 in their quota of 20 overs. CSK’s Imran Tahir was the pick of the bowlers as he picked 4 wickets to his name.
