IPL 2019: CSK’s predicted playing XI

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is one of the prominent franchise in the history of Indian Premier League. They never failed to make it to the playoffs in all the nine seasons played since they missed two due to a ban enforced on them because of the match betting activities of team manager.

Ambati Rayudu

Ambati Rayudu was a good buy for the franchise in the previous mega auction happened. The right-handed batsman was fluent with the bat throughout the season and unexpectedly grabbed the opening position easily. In the last season, he scored a mammoth 602 runs in the 16 matches he played. Without no doubts, he will be an automatic selection in the playing XI for the opening slot.

Like Ambati Rayudu, Shane Watson was also a great addition to the team in the last season. He scored a match-winning ton in the final and made the things a lot easier for the team in the big match. He had some match-winning partnerships with Ambati Rayudu at the opening slot. He scored 555 runs and took 6 wickets in the last season. His bowling spells will be also another advantage for the team balance. Despite the age factor, he is in a good rhythm nowadays too that will make him a go through one.
