IPL 2019: CSK’s predicted playing XI
Obviously, there is no one to play at the no.3 position for Chennai Super Kings other than Suresh Raina. Whatever the bad form he has, he never fails to make a decent contribution to the franchise. He had a pretty good season last year with 445 runs. There will be no debates about his place in the team as he is a permanent member of the playing XI in the franchise for long years.
MS Dhoni might play his last season in the league this time since his retirement days are in the count now. In the last season, he had a good time with the bat too for Chennai Super Kings. The skipper scored 455 runs in the last edition with many match-winning knocks. As he said in the last season, he will be looking to bat up the order this time too where he looks more comfortable these days.
Kedar Jadhav had almost an off-season last time except for the tournament opener he played against Mumbai Indians. But in that one match, he proved his worth by finishing the match for the team. His part-time spin will be a plus for the team and in fact, the skipper MS Dhoni was the man behind his spin bowling and Dhoni won’t fail to use him in IPL too.
