IPL 2019: Current status of each franchise


The next edition of Indian Premier League is officially launched now by teams announcing the list of players they retained for the next season.

All the eight teams have announced the finalized list of players whom they are retaining and whom they are releasing for the auction. in the last edition, teams were given the luxury to retain only three players for the auction.

But this time they are allowed to retain as many as they can. As expected each franchise has retained their core players for the next edition even though there are some surprise exclusions too.

After finalizing the lists of players, each franchise has a limited amount of money in their account for the next auction process. Simultaneously the same is applied to the quota of players in each franchise.

The defending champions Chennai Super Kings have the least count to do in the auction while Kings XI Punjab have the highest one for the same thing. Here is the current status of each team at the moment.

Mumbai Indians:
