IPL 2020: 3 players who can lead CSK if MS Dhoni sits out

RCB's 'strange' reasons to show unwillingness to buy Dhoni

The El-Classico of the Indian Premier League, Chennai Super Kings taking on Mumbai Indians this Friday night at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. In their first meeting, Chennai dominated Mumbai as they chased the total of 162 runs posted by the opposition.

However, Chennai was not able to maintain their winning momentum as they won only 3 out of ten games they played in the league. It would be a tough task for MS Dhoni to win the upcoming four games in a row.

So, coming to the point, we are going to see the other captaincy options in this article if MS Dhoni is rested for the last few games.

1. Shane Watson

I don't think I will bowl much for CSK this IPL: Watson

The right-handed batsman who opens the inning for CSK will be a good option for them. Watson played a key role in the 2018 season where Chennai won the title for the third time in the history of IPL.

But in this season, Shane Watson is struggling a lot to get back to his form. If he takes over the responsibility from MS Dhoni, he might get back to the track to do the best for his side.
