IPL 2020 League Stage: Brad Hogg picks best XI


At the end of the league stage of the 2020 Indian Premier League, former Australia cricketer Brad Hogg has selected the best eleven of IPL 13.

Hammering back to back hundreds as the first batsman of the Indian Premier League, Shikhar Dhawan tops the list as an opener in the Brad Hogg selected eleven. Both Dhawan and Mayank Agarwal are in the third spot of the leading run-scorer list.

Meanwhile, despite achieving the highest individual score by a captain in the Indian Premier League, Lokesh Rahul has been omitted from the list. With 670 runs beside his name, KL Rahul is currently the Orange Cap holder.

In the middle order, Brad Hogg picked up another Indian performers Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya, South African master hitter AB de Villiers along with England opener Eoin Morgan. In the cash-rich tournament, De Villiers has scored 398 runs at an average and strike-rate of 44.22 and 163.78.

For Kolkata Knight Riders, Eoin Morgan was the most prolific performer scoring 418 runs at an average of 41.80.

In the bowling arena, Hogg pushed Jofra Archer and Mohammad Shami ahead of Delhi Capital’s Proteas speedstar Kagiso Rabada despite being the ‘Purple Cap’ holder of the tournament so far.

So far in the competition, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan acquired 19 wickets while Yuzvendra Chahal got 20 wickets.
