IPL 2020: List of cricketers who pulled out and their replacements

Just before the start of the cash-rich T20 league, a lot of players have opted out of the tournament. It all started with Suresh Raina, who pulled out of the tournament due to the personal reasons. There are five more cricketers who did the same just before the tournament.

There were two players who were tested positive for COVID19 in the Chennai Super Kings camp. So, the players decided not to take a risk and opted out of the tournament to spend time with their families.

#6 Harbhajan Singh

Harbhajan Singh

The former Indian cricketer, Harbhajan Singh who joined the Chennai Super Kings franchise last year, decided not to play the IPL this year due to personal reasons. The veteran off-spinner confirmed the news on his official Twitter account.

“I will not be playing IPL this year due to personal reasons. These are difficult times and I would expect some privacy as I spend time with my family. CSK management has been extremely supportive and I wish them a great IPL Stay safe and Jai Hind,” Harbhajan tweeted.
