IPL 2020: Morris and Pandya reprimanded for breaching Code of Conduct

During the Indian Premier League 2020 match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore, both Hardik Pandya and Chris Morris have been reprimanded for breaching the code of conduct. The match was taking place at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.


Morris, the Royal Challengers Bangalore all-rounder admitted to the Level 1 offence 2.5 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct.

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya, the Mumbai Indians all-rounder fall under the Level 1 offence 2.20 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct.

Both of them were found engaged in a verbal confrontation where Mumbai Indians registered a comfortable victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

The incident took place during the 18th over when Mumbai Indians needed only 16 runs more to win the match. The moment was heated when Hardik Pandya made a hard strike against a Chris Morris delivery as the ball flew to the stands.

Morris took his revenge in the very next delivery. Pandya wanted to hit one more shot to cross the boundary rope but all he did was striking straight to the hands of extra cover fielder. While returning back to the pavilion, the duo exchanged more heated words while Pandya raised his finger towards Morris.

Suryakumar Yadav hammered a wonderful 79 made it easy for the Mumbai Indians to chase dwon 164.
