They got a decent start from their openers as Yash Dayal dismissed Yashasvi Jaiswal for 22 runs. After his dismissal, Hardik Pandya removed Sanju Samson who scored just 14 runs for his team.
Devdutt Padikkal hasn't had a good day with the bat as the Afghan spinner got his first prey for just 2 runs. After that, the Gujarat skipper Hardik Pandya also removed Jos Buttler who was the only hope for Rajasthan Royals and got the wicket of Shimron Hetmyer as well.
Ravichandran Ashwin who has had a good season with the bat has been taken down by Sai Kishore. In the end, with the help of Riyan Parag and lower-order batters, Rajasthan Royals managed to pull off 130 runs on the board.

After a crucial 63 runs partnership, Yuzvendra Chahal provided the breakthrough for his team and removed Hardik Pandya for 34 runs. Then David Miller came out to bat and didn't look pleased against the opposition bowlers as he scored runs at a brisk pace.
