IPL to be held in Bangladesh?

Indian-Premier-LeagueLast year there were some rumors heard – some of IPL’s matches could be held at Dhaka. At the end, it remained as a rumor. This year, exactly the same rumors were heard. Apart from Dhaka, some of the IPL’s matches could be held at Fatullah and Chittagong it was said.

These comments were found from a reliable source of BCB’s grounds committee. BCB’s grounds and facilities manager Abdul Baten informed that a few of IPL’s matches could actually be held in Bangladesh. However, three top officials from BCB, Ahmed Sazzadul Alam Bobby, Lokman Hossain and IH Mallik, said that they have no idea about this topic.

As an instrument for this information Baten said, “Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla Stadium, Fatullah’s Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium and Chittagong’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium are being considered as a possible venue. An Indian inspection team will soon arrive in Dhaka to visit these three stadiums. We have kept these three fields ready.” When will the IPL be held this year? The people concerned has not yet answered that question.
