I’ve played on such wicket for the first time: Razzak

Terrible turns and cutters at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka once paved Bangladesh’s way to win Test matches against giant opponents England and Australia. The 35 year old spinner said, “I have played in this sort of wicket for the first time in my career. But Bangladesh, at that time, was totally new in Test cricket hence it was not at all possible for me to bring off my strengths in bowling totally considering the situation of the team as a total.”

“Now, clearly everything will be progressed with the time and this is the result of it,” he said.

Making a comeback after four long years, Abdur Razzak performed best among all Bangladesh bowlers in the match. He captured 4 front line wickets conceding 63 runs in 16 overs.

At stumps of day one, Bangladesh are at the score of 56 for the loss of 4 wickets.
