Jaffer spills a suggestion to Rahane for Boxing-Day Test


Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer suggested some must need changes to the stand-in Indian skipper Ajinkya Rahane, through an interesting tweet.

Following the humiliating defeat, opinions and suggestions are pouring towards the Indian team for the remainder of the series. Also from now, Ajinkya Rahane will be the captain of the team for the remaining games. To the stand-in skipper, former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer suggested picking two players in the next game.

The former cricketer conveyed his suggestion through a tweet. More than the content of the tweet, the way he tried to convey the message has gained the attention of many and since then it is going viral on social media. Jaffer put a random phrase there, where the first letter of each word portrays a suggestion.

“Dear @ajinkyarahane88, here’s a (hidden) message for you. Good luck for Boxing Day! People In Cricket Know Grief In Life Lingers Aplenty Never Dabble Rise And Handcraft Unique Legacy.PS: you guys are open to have a go and decode the msg too,” the tweet read.

With that kind of puzzle, Jaffer mentioned “Pick Gill and Rahul.” Meanwhile, the bets are high on Shubman Gill and KL Rahul to get a game in the second Test, after India’s poor display with the bat in the first Test.
