Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer made fun of Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood after the above bid by Chennai Super Kings. It is because the Indian batsman troubled the Aussie bowlers a lot during India’s last tour to Australia.
Indian fielding coach R Sridhar too funnily told in an interview that the fast bowler was very much annoyed with the batting from Cheteshwar Pujara in the Test series. Ironically, now both of them are in the same franchise for IPL 2021.
The former Indian cricketer mentioned the fact that Hazlewood may need to bowl against Pujara in the nets of Chennai Super Kings. “That moment when you realize you will have to bowl again to @cheteshwar1 in the nets,” Jaffer quoted with a photo of the Aussie fast bowler.
