Jos Buttler picks his all-time IPL XI
The English wicket-keeper batsman, Jos Buttler has been the regular performer for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League. He was looked in coming back to the form before the 14th edition of the tournament has been suspended by BCCI due to rising cases of Covid-19.
It started from the Kolkata Knight Riders camp as the mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier were the first prey for the deadly virus. Besides, the right-handed batsman has the ability to convert his starts to big ones.
Likewise, he did the same in the last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad to whom he registered his maiden IPL ton and helped his team to revive their campaign in the league. Buttler started his IPL career with Mumbai Indians in 2016 and joined the Rajasthan-based franchise in 2018.
His attacking style of play gives the expected start for RR in both powerplay and middle overs of the game. Recently, Jos Buttler named his all-timeXI of IPL which didn’t have the likes of the new captain Sanju Samson.
“Mr. IPL” has no place in Jos Buttler’s all-time XI:
Jos Buttler’s all-time XI doesn’t have the services of Suresh Raina who is regarded as “Mr. IPL” for his fabulous show in the cash-rich contest. Over the years, he has been one of the main reasons for the success of the Chennai Super Kings.
Coming to the XI, he selected himself to open the innings along with the Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma. Following them, Virat Kohli was named as the No.3 batsman with his teammate AB de Villers at No.4. Villiers in the middle will be a great choice as he has the ability to accelerate the run-rate in the middle overs of the game.
MS Dhoni has named as the skipper of this team and will do the late hitting along with the powerhouse Kieron Pollard. Ravindra Jadeja is picked as the main all-rounder in the team. Harbhajan Singh has got a place in the XI for his wicket-taking abilities during the crunch situations of the game.
The pace bowling department has the likes of the legendary Lasith Malinga, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Jasprit Bumrah which is enough to defend any low totals on the board.
Here is the all-time XI of Jos Buttler:
