Joy half-century, Yasir blitz propel Khulna to seven wicket win over Chattogram

Khulna Tigers beat Chattogram Challengers comfortably by a big margin of 7 wickets in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) on Friday. With the win, Khulna Tigers climb to the top four with 4 points while Chattogram continue to stay at the bottom half of the table.
After being sent to bat first, Chattogram lost Max O’Dowd early in the innings. Then, Usman Khan and Afif Hossain made a stunning 70-run partnership in just 9.1 overs. Amad Butt got the breakthrough wicket of Usman Khan, who scored 45 runs from 31 balls with 7 fours and a six. Chattogram’s innings slowed down after that. Afif and Darwish Rasooli made 33 runs together from 36 balls. Afif was dismissed for 35 runs from 31 balls.
Chattogram lost their way completely after Afif’s wicket and lost wickets at regular intervals in the end. Then, Farhad Reza’s 21-run cameo from 9 balls gave them a modest total of 157 runs in 20 overs losing 9 wickets. Wahab Riaz was the best bowler for Khulna with 4 wickets for 36 runs. Mohammad Saifuddin took 2 wickets.
