Karachi Stadium green signaled to arrange PSL 2018 final

An international security firm has satisfaction over the security arrangement of National Stadium of Karachi, termed as a major positive feedback towards Pakistan Cricket Board’s decision of arranging some matches of the third edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) over there.

Last weekend, representative of Eastern Star International, Reg Dickason visited Karachi stadium and green signaled one of the prime cricket venues of Pakistan. The above mentioned security firm provides advices to International Cricket Council and other major sporting authorities on security issues.

“I thank everyone involved in providing us with such a thorough and professional presentation (of the security arrangements). The efforts of all the agencies combined with Mr. Sethi from the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) are very encouraging to see, and that would reflect in any further reports we give to the PCB and ICC,” Reg Dickason said.

“We do have a few things to discuss, but overall, it was an impressive show that came after months and months of planning and discussions,” he also said.

The comments were delivered after a security rehearsal to conduct PSL final 2018 in that venue was held.

The final of this year’s PSL final is expected to be held in National Stadium of Karachi on March 25.

Afterwards, Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal also assured of Sindh Government’s promises to satisfy all concerned authorities on security of the venue to arranged PSL final.
