KKR star Chris Lynn’s IPL under doubt
So far performing an instrumental performance for Kolkata Knight Riders in the ongoing Indian Premier League, Chris Lynn has been among the talks of this season’s tournament. Unfortunately enough for the Australian hard hitter, he has suffered from yet another shoulder injury and has probability to miss the a large part of IPL-10.
During the Monday’s match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians, Lynn suffered a dislocation in his left shoulder after awkwardly landed after attempting to take a diving catch. He had been immediately taken to the hospital from the field.
A frustrated Chris Lynn later tweeted, “Dear Cricket Gods, did I do something wrong?”
The Australian star batsman has quite a long term history of shoulder problems. If the dislocation will be confirmed, it would be the third time in eighteen months when he dislocated the same shoulder tendon.
He had a surgery in the same shoulder in 2014 that forced him to miss the starting of the season. He had also missed the initial part of the 2016-17 season after dislocating the same shoulder and missed 2015 Matador BBQs One day cup after dislocating the left shoulder.
Chris Lynn scored an unbeaten 93 runs in KKR’s first match of IPL-10 and scored another 32 in the second match.
