Kohli and Ashwin are the biggest threats, believes Mushfiqur

Ahead of the one-off Test match against India in Hyderabad, Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim talked about the possible threats he is expecting from the opposition fold.

According to Mushfiqur, Virat Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin are the biggest threats, while he also believes there are many more great players in the current India set-up, which helped them become the No.1 Test team in the world.

“Kohli is in great form and he is one of the best in the world. And so is Ashwin. They are both big threats but there are other good players too.

“To be honest, No 1 team can’t be No 1 because of two players. Both Virat Kohli and R Ashwin are great players, but lots of others, like Pujara, Rahul and Nair also did well against England. The pacers did well too, even if they didn’t take five wickets each time,” Mushfiqur added.

Mushfiqur also praised about India’s lower order batting, which has been tremendously consistent in recent times, specially in the series against England. “Look at the runs the lower order scored in every game.”
