Kohli rested for ODI series against Sri LankaIndian skipper Virat Kohli has been rested for the ODI series against Sri Lanka. Shreyas Iyer has replaced Kohli in the limited over team who is one of the most highly rated young batsman. Shreyas made his T20I debut against New Zealand earlier this month and yet to inaugurate his career in the fifty over format.

In absence of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma will lead India in one day international against Sri Lanka.

There is one more new inclusion in the team. Fast bowler Siddharth Kaul. Kaul has had a wonderful tour with the ‘A’ team against South Africa in limited over series.

Hardik Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are also back in the team. Pandya was rested for the Test series and Bhuvneshwar took a leave for his wedding.
