Kohli shows condolence for elephant, fans raise questions over his post
Probably all celebrities have to face this question when talking about something on social media. He spoke about one thing, then came the comment below, “He said about this topic, but why he didn’t say anything about this topic! Why were your eyes closed then?” India captain Virat Kohli is also feeling it this time.
Two days ago, a pregnant wild elephant was killed in Kerala, India. Rumor has it that the villagers put a cracker in a pineapple and fed it to the hungry elephant, after which the cracker exploded in the elephant’s mouth and the elephant died. Again, many people say that the crackers are inserted in the pineapple and placed next to the crop so that the crop can be protected from the attack of wild pigs. The elephant died after eating that pineapple.
Which is true, not yet known. The Kerala government announced on Wednesday that an investigation team would investigate the incident. But so far the word of killing the elephant inhumanely at the hands of people is spreading.
India captain Virat Kohli has showed sorrows in this example of barbarism. “Appalled to hear about what happened in Kerala. Let’s treat our animals with love and bring an end to these cowardly acts,” Kohli tweeted yesterday, with a picture of a baby elephant in the womb of an elephant, walking in heaven.

Many people are thanking Kohli for this emotional tweet that reminds people of the human side. However, some of the comments raised the question of why Kohli did not speak on other issues. Someone is questioning the Kashmir issue, so someone’s comments are examples of inhumane treatment of people at other times.
Here are some comments by fans-
Happy to see our top cricket icon speak up. Appreciate.
Happy to see you shed the silence you were maintaining when people were killed in the name of religion, politics, etc..
Hope you would speak up…😊

It was very unfortunate incident but you need understand few facts. Wild boar attack is a serious threat to small scale farmers and their agriculture, livelihood. Many farmers illegally use explosives to kill the wild boars that attacks their farming. .
